Fernando Amorim

I started in this industry in 1999 in the United States, washing dishes.
Years later, I was leading a restaurant chain in Australia with over 850 employees under my national direction.

I experienced every stage of the hospitality industry — from the floor to leadership — and learned that true success is born when people grow, systems work, and purpose is lived every day.

Today, as a mentor, consultant, and owner of two restaurants in Portugal, I dedicate my life to helping businesses and teams around the world find balance, profitability, and meaning.

Through Resprofits, I created a methodology that combines rigorous management and human development — helping restaurants become structured, profitable, and conscious.

I believe profit is merely the reflection of a business aligned with its purpose.

And that’s why I do what I do:

My mission is to share the book of my life with as many restaurants as possible around the world.
I created Resprofits to accelerate the path to profitability and balance for those who, like me, have given everything in this industry — and deserve to reap the rewards of their effort.
What I teach, I didn’t learn in courses or manuals.
I learned on the ground.
I learned during long 15-hour days,with no holidays, no Christmas, and few breaks.
I learned while the world rested, and I was building teams, solving problems, and turning dreams into reality..
I dedicate my life to hospitality, and every challenge I face shapes the person and professional I am today.
That’s why everything I teach comes from real practice — from what works, from what I’ve tested, from what has delivered results.
My mission is to share this knowledge with those who want to prosper faster, without having to go through the same struggles I experienced.
My programs were created with a simple purpose:
to make management easy to understand, quick to implement, and effective in results..
Because I believe hospitality is an art, but management is a discipline — and when the two come together, true prosperity is born.

What motivated you to create Resprofits?

After more than 20 years working with entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry, I realized that the problem wasn’t a lack of talent — it was a lack of management. I created Resprofits to help those who make a living in hospitality gain control, profitability, and quality of life.

It’s practical. Everything we teach is tested in real operations. We don’t talk theory — we implement processes that deliver results in the day-to-day running of a restaurant.

The biggest challenge is the resistance to asking for help. Many believe they have to do everything on their own, and that’s exactly where they lose time, money, and energy.

Clarity. The feeling of finally understanding your business, making decisions with confidence, and seeing your effort reflected in the results.
